🍁 Fall’s Final Glimpse 🍂
October 18, 2025As October winds down, we’re witnessing the final moments of fall’s vibrant beauty. The brilliant reds, oranges, and golds are slowly fading as the trees prepare for winter, leaving a more muted, tranquil landscape. Frosty mornings are becoming more frequent, hinting that our lakes and forests are settling into the quieter, colder months ahead.
Despite the chill, we’ve been lucky to enjoy some unseasonably warm days, perfect for late-season boat rides. These last glimpses of open water give us a chance to savor the serenity of our lakes before winter fully sets in.
Turning to the housing market, recent trends indicate a cautious yet hopeful atmosphere. While many buyers are holding out for further price reductions and lower interest rates, certain groups are finding opportunities in the current landscape. First-time homebuyers and those looking to upsize are particularly active. While some sellers remain hesitant to adjust their expectations, leading to properties lingering on the market. Mortgage Wellness broker Nick Lecuyer observes that unmotivated sellers might be skewing inventory figures, suggesting that the actual supply could be tighter than reported. Despite these challenges, experts believe the market is gradually moving toward balance
